My mantra is that every good artist needs to be a decent writer. Being able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively through the written word is a skill that is vital to all creatives. I personally found that adulthood was not challenging me to write creatively as much as I wanted (unless you count answering emails as creative writing), so I took it upon myself to find work as a content writer for a local publication. I’ve had the privilege of being a part of SheMade Digital, a women’s empowerment digital magazine, since August, 2022. It has been so wonderful to participate in such a wonderful environment of strong women who have a similar passion for writing.
